Educational events on the International Mother Language Day
Educational events on the International Mother Language Day have already become traditional in Uman National University of Horticulture. Lecturers of the Chair of Ukrainian and Foreign Languages organized a contest of wall newspapers and compositions among first-year students of all faculties and led a round-table discussion "Our language is our heart". Students and lecturers recited their favourite poems of the famous Ukrainian writers Taras Shevchenko and Lina Kostenko and less known poets. There were no vacant seats in the auditorium. It was full and the audience listened with admiration, because every performance was unique.

Educational events on the International Mother Language Day
More than 40 wall newspapers were submitted for the contest. They decorated the hall near the Chair of Ukrainian and Foreign Languages for one week.
At the end of the round-table discussion students received commendation letters and prizes for the best wall news papers, compositions and poems.
